Drugs missing from ambulance service have been found
A small quantity of controlled drugs that went mising in Cork city have been found, the National Ambulance Service has confirmed.
The National Ambulance Service revealed on Tuesday night that it was appealing for the public’s help in locating a missing pouch, which contained the missing drugs, and was red in colour with a grey trim.
The pouch has a National Ambulance Service crest on it and it was noticed missing by a National Ambulance Service crew while on duty in the Grenville Place area of Cork city on Tuesday evening.
The National Ambulance Service yesterday, Wednesday, confirmed that the small quantity of controlled drugs reported missing had been located.
The pouch was found by a member of the public and handed into a pharmacy in Friars Walk, Cork city.
The contents of the pouch were intact and untouched.
The National Ambulance Service thanked the public for their assistance.
