Celebrating Irish brands this spring
Spring has sprung and as we approach St Patricks Day, I thought I would showcase some of our homegrown incredible brands.
There are so many phenomenal brands but for today I am keeping it niche.
Ella and Jo
It started with a brush cleaner and a dream for Charlene and Niamh and the business has grown along with their product range. One of my favourites in the line is Ella & Jo Melt The Day Away Cleanser (€36). It is a luxurious balm to oil cleanser that cleanses, hydrates, and nourishes your skin. This face and eye makeup remover gently dissolves and removes face and eye makeup, dirt, and oil from the skin. It’s jam packed full of supercharged antioxidant ingredients and is also suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Soothe Skincare
Its Glow Serum (€28.99) is a natural, vegan serum made in Ireland. Acting to provide long-lasting hydration, the Glow Serum soothes the skin on application. A multi-tasking blend that combines the highest quality natural ingredients, skin appears instantly smoother and firmer after use. The Glow Serum is packed with hyaluronic acid and rejuvenating organic peat which contains naturally occurring vitamins and amino acids. Helping boost collagen production from regular use, the Glow Serum combats signs of ageing leaving skin feeling refreshed and revitalised. Also worth purchasing to help this penetrate the skin is the glow mask. This reusable silicone mask will help your serum to absorb (€14.99).
Bare by Vogue
Famous tan brand Bare by Vogue has a core selection of really excellent products. Whether you start your tanning journey with an exfoliating mitt or use the whole range you really are assured of lovely results. It has three tanning mousses, three instant tans and a tan remover in the core range. A recent addition to this was a stunning, opulent body liquid illuminator and body brush which really highlights the skin for a flawless finish.
The non-comedogenic face mist is also a winner and I use this on my face, neck and chest as well as on the back of my hands as it gives a great glow and won't cling if your hands are dry from sanitiser. The range starts from €8 and is available in pharmacies and supermarkets.
Luna by Lisa
This is a haircare and make up line that is priced competitively but doesn’t compromise on quality. My favourite product from the range is the Morganite pencil and lipstick, although truthfully, I adore the weekly detox shampoo too. The most recent addition to the line are the Luna by Lisa lip glosses (€10) which are ultra glam and available in a variety of shades. They can be worn alone or over your lipstick. Stay pouting with Dazzle Light, a high shine, clear gloss infused with showstopping gold glitter. Glaze your lips with this shimmering wash of milky pearl that’s like a dewy highlight for your lips. Dazzle Bomb Is a soft, pearlised, pink gloss that gives your lips a flawless, glittery glow.
Fall in love with this decadent gloss, sure to dazzle and delight! Or opt for Petal Glow, the perfect rose nude that looks good on everyone. This neutral glitter gloss delivers explosive shine as one luscious swipe of the wand gives lips an instantly fuller and smoother shine.
For true nude lovers, Creamy Cloud is a plumping gloss formulated with a lip-hugging effect to enhance your lips and coat them flawlessly - ideal for adding luxe glamour to your makeup look.
For a deeper nude, Coco Shell is the ultimate full coverage & high shine, plumping gloss. The much anticipated addition to the beloved Coco Shell satin lipstick and lip pencil, this super hydrating sister product gives the most beautiful mirror-shine finish.
