Roots Kitchen savours business success
Donna's journey in the business world began seven years ago when she started her venture as a high-end lunch service business. Over time, she transformed it into a full-service corporate catering company, and in 2019, she secured a significant contract that completely changed the face of her business.
However, just as this contract was coming to fruition, she faced a personal challenge as her she gave birth to a baby boy who was born with a rare genetic condition. Despite this challenging difficulty, Donna persevered and continued to run her business while also managing her son's health condition with medication.
With a team of eight, Roots Kitchen is steadily growing. Recently, her husband, whom she met while working at Sober Lane bar in Cork, joined the team after spending eight years at Apple. His experience added valuable expertise.
