Cork company sponsors Lawrie

A Cork financial planning company announced this week that is it sponsoring golfer Peter Lawrie who is back on the pro circuit after a six year absence.

Former winner of the Spanish Open, Lawrie made his Legends Tour debut this summer and will contest the Senior Open at Carnoustie in Scotland this weekend.

The sponsorship arrangement with Blueprint Financial Planning is the first of its kind for an Irish financial brokerage and sees Lawrie wear the Blueprint logo on his right sleeve.

It complements the company’s annual charity golf classic, which has raised over €28k for good causes since it began in September 2020. Lawrie said: “It is a privilege to be back on the pro circuit after a six year absence and I’m delighted to partner with Blueprint Financial Planning at what is a milestone moment for me, my first Legends tour.”
