A fab night for a great cause!

“I wanted to do something that would help raise awareness of both organisations and the work they do”.

So said Alexander Gannon, manager of The Liberty Bar on South Main Street who has organized a fundraiser, tonight at 8pm, in collaboration with, OSS Cork and The Gay Project.

Tonight they will be hosting The Kitty Collective Swag Party, ‘Cork’s newest queer party for the girlies, theys and gays’. The party will include a variety of DJs, playing an array of club classics.

This is the third consecutive event held in The Liberty Bar this week, all of which, have been organized to raise awareness and raise funds for OSS Cork and The Gay Project.

OSS Cork is a full-time support service for adult victims of domestic abuse. They provide services to domestic abuse victims and their concerned loved ones.

The Gay Project is an organisation that ensure gay, bisexual, men who have sex with men (MSM), trans and queer men are enabled to participate in Ireland’s social, economic, cultural and artistic life. They raise awareness for issues that disproportionately effect members of the LGBTQI+ community and offer support services also.

OSS Cork said:

“We were delighted when the guys in The Liberty approached us with this great idea to help raise awareness of our organisation and raise funds for our collaboration on reachOUT Research with Gay Project.”

Gay Project Manager, Konrad Im: “It is always such a pleasure to deal with Alexander and we’re so happy when he approached us with this great idea to help raise awareness and funds for Gay Project.”
