Cork camogie to take two cups home to Leeside?

Hopes are high in the Rebel County as the Cork camogie team go into this Sunday’s All-Ireland Final against Galway with every chance of securing a second title in a row.

Captained by Sarsfields’ Molly Lynch, Cork come into this Sunday’s final with great momentum having brushed Dublin aside 4-17 to 0-09 in the semi-final on 27 July.

Cork will be hoping to produce something similar to last year’s final mismatch when they came out comfortable victors, beating Waterford by 0-9 to 5-13.

Ahead of the senior throw-in at 5.15 on Sunday, the Cork intermediate squad are also in action at 3pm against Kilkenny in the intermediate All-Ireland Camogie Final.

Commenting on the success of both teams, Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Joe Carroll, said: “We're all hoping to see the O'Duffy Cup and the Jack McGrath Cup back in Cork on Sunday evening.”
