Seek support if someone you love has a drinking problem with Al-Anon

If someone you care about has a drinking problem, you might be able to see what it is doing to them.

However, can you see what it is doing to you? Do you feel alone and that no one understands? Al-Anon family groups aim to offer support to family and friends who are or who have been affected by someone else’s drinking.

The drinker may or may not have admitted to the problem, may be still drinking or nor longer in your life. Al-Anon is open to all. Members are all ages and from all walks of life. Husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, parents and friends are welcome.

There are groups all over Ireland and meetings every evening of the week. For further information contact the helpline on 01-8732699 or visit al-anonuk.org.uk.
