An East Cork school is hosting an open night this month and inviting parents and their daughters to experience the vibrant campus

It takes place on Thursday 26 September and starting at 6pm at Glenmary Hall, you’ll hear from Principal Seán Twomey, at 6.30pm and take a tour of the campus and meet students and staff along the way.

St Aloysius’ College, Carrigtwohill is an all-girls secondary school, guided by the SMG Sisters under the Le Chéile Schools Trust.

They say their mission is to provide more than just an education—they offer a transformative journey that nurtures your daughter's potential in a supportive, encouraging, and challenging environment.

They offer a well-rounded, holistic education and proven academic excellence.

Year after year, their students consistently outperform national standards in the Leaving Cert exams. In the past five years, St Al’s has produced many students who have achieved 625 CAO points with 40% of our students achieving over 500 points—well above the national average of 25%—and 73% achieving over 400 points.

At St Al’s, education extends far beyond the classroom. They offer a wide range of extra- and co-curricular activities including music, sports, drama, dance, and more. Girls will have countless opportunities to explore passions and develop new skills. They are currently redeveloping the entire campus to include state-of-the-art facilities that will further enhance girls’ experiences.

As an all-girls school, they aim to provide an empowering atmosphere where girls will have the space to lead, express themselves, and fully embrace new opportunities. Students’ voices are heard, their opinions respected, and their accomplishments celebrated. Curiosity is encouraged, questions are valued, and every girl has the confidence to pursue her ambitions.
