Acclaimed Clare artist Susan O’Neill will bring her brand-new album ‘Now In a Minute’ to St Lukes on 12 October.

The upcoming gig is presented by The Good Room, a Cork-based event organiser that aims to promote shows in unique venues, such as St Luke’s, a former church on the northside and one of Cork’s best venues.

Debuting at the number one spot on the Independent Albums Chart, the album was also sitting at number 4 on the Irish charts, nestled between Taylor Swift and Noah Kahan.

Released on 20 September, ‘Now in a Minute’ is O’Neill’s sophomore effort, and marks her first LP since 2021’s ‘In the Game’, a collaborative project with Cork singer-songwriter Mick Flannery.

The album features further collaboration with Flannery, who co-wrote four tracks, as well as support from a range of other Irish musicians.

Described as a songwriter “of hidden depths, with a timeless voice that is equal parts balm and blowtorch”, Susan O’Neill is rapidly becoming one of Ireland’s most-respected artists.

Boasting performances at Áras an Uachtaráin, and nominations for the coveted Choice Music Prize, O’Neill has also performed alongside international stars such as Phoebe Bridgers and the Teskey Brothers.

Tickets are available on the Live at St. Luke’s website, from €26.50.

Doors are at 7.30pm, with the show due to start at 8pm. The venue operates a first come first served seating policy, and is a BYOB event.
