A Cork dental practice has won the Team of the Year award as a part of the prestigious Irish Dentistry Awards.

Cork Dental Care, who are a part of the PortmanDentex Ireland Group, received the coveted award at a ceremony recently in Dublin’s Mansion House.

This year marked the 12th consecutive year of the awards which aim to recognise excellence throughout Ireland to inspire continued best practice in oral health care.

Cork Dental Care said they have “always been driven by a shared mission to provide exceptional patient care, innovative treatments, and a welcoming environment”.

Aspects of their practice such as investing in the latest technology, continuously expanding their skills and staying ahead of industry standards are some of the contributing factors to their win, the company believes.

Receiving the award on behalf of the team was Dental Nurse Lesley-Anne Roberts, who described the dedication, passion, and excellence that her coworkers have brought to the table.

“This award means so much to us because it highlights the years of hard work and commitment to patient care,” she said after accepting the award.

“Our team consistently goes above and beyond to provide the best possible experience, and this recognition is a testament to their unwavering dedication,” said the dental nurse.

The Cork Dental Care team was also recognised by PortmanDentex’s Chief Operating Officer Owen James, who commended the team for both their hard work and achievements.

“We are extremely proud of the team at Cork Dental Care and are overjoyed to see that their hard work and dedication has been officially recognised,” said Mr James.

“They’re an absolute credit to the industry and their patients and we’re thrilled to have them in our dental group,” Mr James added.

Established in 2009, the clinic is located in the heart of Cork city at 14 Union Quay, and has already won numerous awards for their practice.
