Juxtapose Decor is a Cork-based online interior decor store. They source the best products across Europe and the style is heavily influenced by all things unique and quirky.

Caroline descries herself as the ‘creator and visionary’ behind Juxtapose Decor.

She told us about how she came to found Juxtapose.

“I've always had such a passion for interiors, the old and new. Back in 2021, while pregnant with my third child, I felt the time was right to take the leap and open my own store.

“I took a flight to Paris to the huge home interiors event Maison & Objet. I literally walked around it for two days - I was mesmerised! I researched so many wholesalers and designers, always keeping a look out for new and quirky designers across Europe,” she explained.

This can be difficult as some designers only deal with stores that have a brick and mortar store, while other just don’t reply! “There are amazing designers out there that are happy to work with me, which can be found on the website. From the playful Dutch brand Polspotten to the sustainable luxury brand Palais.”
