Alright Madness, any ska?
Leeside ska fans are in for a real treat this summer when one of Britain’s most prominent bands of the ‘70s and ‘80s, Madness, comes to town.
With support from special guests Ocean Colour Scene, Madness will play Virgin Media Park, Cork on 20 June.
They will also be performing at Belsonic in Belfast on 19 June.
Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9am on Friday, and are priced at €59.90 including booking fee. Mastercard cardholders have special access to presale tickets for the show in Cork until 9am tomorrow morning.
The shows will see Madness perform their greatest hits from a career spanning over four decades.
Throughout their illustrious career, Madness have had 1 UK Official Charts No.1 album, 10 UK top ten albums, 15 top ten singles, and have won a multitude of awards including a prestigious Ivor Novello. They’ve performed on the top of Buckingham Palace as part of the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations and set the record for the biggest ever audience for the BBC’s Live New Year’s Eve Broadcast - the most watched TV music event of 2018.
Madness’ most recent album, ‘Theatre Of The Absurd Presents C’est La Vie’ entered the UK Official Charts at No.1.
