Cork's Cian Ducrot double!

Thousands of Corkonian hands will be hovering above keyboards on Friday morning when tickets go on sale for Cian Ducrot’s extra date for Live at the Marquee.

With the Cork singer-songwriter’s show on 19 July selling fast, tickets for the freshly announced extra date on 20 July are expected to be in hot demand.

Tickets for the extra show go on sale at 10am tomorrow morning, Friday, from ticketmaster.ie.

The Passage West native bagged his (and Cork’s) first ever Grammy at the 2025 ceremony in Los Angeles at the start of the month for co-writing American artist SZA’s global hit track, ‘Saturn’ which was named Best R&B Song.

The first chapter of Cian Ducrot’s career took the then unknown newcomer to phenomenal success, with his debut album ‘Victory’ shooting to #1 in the UK and Ireland.

The album encompassed many more highlights, including two UK Top 20 hits - the Platinum-certified ‘All For You’ and the Gold-certified ‘I’ll Be Waiting’ - winning the RTÉ Choice Music Prize Irish Song of the Year, and building tremendous engagement across socials with 4.5 million followers at TikTok and another million at Instagram.

The album’s impact continued long after its release, as Cian played to a total of 36,000 people across two headline shows in Dublin and Cork before touring North America as special guest to Calum Scott.
