Paul you need is love!

A Cork musician is proving “all you need is love” as he brings his spellbinding Beatles tribute to senior day centres across the Rebel County.

Singer-songwriter and composer, Girish Paul, is on a tour of senior social and care centres around the county where he performs daytime shows with all the favourites from the Fab Four.

In between his many other artistic projects, Girish is on a journey to delight, inspire, and raise the spirits of Cork’s senior citizens with a magical trip down memory lane.

He said: “I have always believed in the power of music to lift the spirit. I have been deeply touched by the warm reception from the senior members and the staff at these centres for seniors as I perform some of the greatest songs ever written. It’s been thrilling to see the joy on the faces that light up with each song.”

So far, Girish’s daytime concerts have been going down extremely well with audience members all singing along to the classic tunes, and some even getting up to shake a leg or two!

“Every member seems to know the words, and it’s particularly joyous as an artist when members get up onto their feet and hit the dance floor to the rock n’ roll numbers,” he said.

With bookings coming thick and fast for his Beatles tribute, Girish said he is extremely grateful to those the centres he’s played in and confided that he may have another tribute show up his sleave once his Beatles run comes to an end.

“I wish to thank the hardworking staff of all the day care centres that have booked my show, and as The Beatles gig is almost fully booked for the coming months, I am looking forward to returning to them with my sister concert featuring the ever popular superhit songs of Abba that I’m certain Cork’s seniors will really enjoy,” he said.
